PADI e-Learning

PADI Stands for The Professional Association of Diving Instructors. The Association runs a range of courses that are recognised world wide. These range from the basic introduction for beginners (bubble maker) to the most advanced (open water scuba instructor).

 

 

OFFERED COURSES:

Course: PADI BUBBLEMAKER

Course Covers:
Pool or confined water experience maximum depth 2 meters. Recommended time 60 minutes

Diving Qualifications Required:
– None
Other Requirements:
– 8 years minimum age

 

Course: PADI DISCOVER SCUBA

Course Covers:
Pool or confined water experience. Recommended time 60 minutes.

Diving Qualifications Required:
– None
Other Requirements:
– 10 years minimum age

 

Course: PADI DISCOVER SCUBA DIVER

Course Covers:
Pool or confined water experience. Recommended time 60 minutes

Open Water Dive: 12meters max, half day program

Diving Qualifications Required:
– None
Other Requirements:
– 10 years minimum age

 

Course: PADI SCUBA DIVER

Course Covers:
To provide divers with the fundamental knowledge of Scuba Diving, diving equipment and the techniques they will need to learn to enable them to experience the underwater environment safely under the guidance of a certified PADI professional to a maximum of 12 metres. Duration 2 – 3 days.

Other Requirements:
– 10 years old minimum

 

Course: PADI OPEN WATER DIVER

Course Covers:
To provide divers with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to dive with a buddy in similar or better conditions than those that they were trained in, independent of supervision. Duration 4/5 days

Diving Qualifications Required:
– None
Other Requirements:
– 10 years minimum age

 

Course: PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

Course Covers:
Provides divers with a structured means to explore special diving interests and gain dive experience. Allows customising of training path and learning of underwater skills that broaden diver’s awareness of the environment. Duration 2 days.

Diving Qualifications Required:
– PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
Other Requirements:
– 12 years minimum age (10 years old for adventure dives)

 

Course: PADI EFR – EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE

Course Covers:
Basic training course in emergency care. CPR and important emergency care skills are combined into one 8-hour course which allows the graduate to function with one consistent set of priorities in a medical emergency. Duration 8 hours

Course: PADI RESCUE DIVER

Course Covers:
Important and crucial step in expanding a diver’s knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers. Duration 2 – 3 days.

Diving Qualifications Required:
– PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
Other Requirements:
– 15 years minimum age, 25 dives logged

 

Course: PADI ADVENTURE DIVER

Course Covers:
Provides divers with a structured means to explore special diving interests and gain dive experience. Allows customising of training path and learning of underwater skills that broaden diver’s awareness of the environment. Duration 2 days.

Diving Qualifications Required:
– PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
Other Requirements:
– 10 years minimum age

 

Course: PADI DIVEMASTER

Course Covers:
Entry to professional levels in diver training. Those who join the PADI Divemaster ranks can assist instructors in the training of divers and supervise those divers or skin divers already certified. Recommended hours 50, 60 dives logged.

Diving Qualifications Required:
– PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
– 60 logged dives

Other Requirements:
– Current First Aid / CPR within the last 24 months
– 18 years minimum age
– Medical approval to dive from a physician within the last 12 months
